The association is active with lobbying efforts on the local, state and national levels.
Events such as the Parade of Homes, Street of Dreams
and Remodelers' Showcase successfully market New Construction
and Remodeling. The Omaha Home Show provides associate
members with opportunities to show the latest in home
products and ideas.
The Metro Omaha Builders Association is a leader in providing service to our community and our industry. Notable projects include the Architectural Scholarship Awards, Builders of the Future Scholarships Homes of Our Own/Tommy Tree Program and community service projects.
Members are able to become involved through their activity on various committees and councils.
The Metro Omaha Builders Association provides numerous
opportunities for members to connect on a progressional
level, which can often lead to valuable business exchanges.
MOBA has many events throughout the year for the public including The Omaha Home and Builder's Show, The Remodel Omaha Tour, The Spring and Fall Parade of Homes and the Street of Dreams. MOBA also has many events just for our members which are the Annual Golf Tournament in May, which is
one of the largest golf tournaments in the state of Nebraska, Cosmic Bowling Night, Continuing Education and Designation Courses and Membership Dinner Meetings.
Keeping members informed of changing industry regulations and
standards, as well as updated techniques and trends
is a primary responsibility of the Association.
